But according to Ubisoft's page there, it doesn't. I makes sense to buy it directly from Ubi if the discount exists for the use of Uplay points. And as stated, paying the developer directly feels better if there is no financial penalty for doing so. If it is 23% it is a couple of dollars cheaper, but does not assure me a preload period, which is nice. If I apply the the 20% discount it makes it $56, which is $71.50-$72.00 AUD. It is the Deluxe Edition as well.So Ubi is wrong? I have already purchased it at Ubisoft for $72.00 AUD, just like I previously did weeks before the release of Assassin's Creed Origins. It most definitely does include pre-purchases and new titles. So there's no 20% discount on this game through the Uplay Club. Uplay offers a 20% discount if you use 100 Uplay coins.but that excludes pre-purchases and new games. The point that Refractive is making is that it's cheaper elsewhere. In fact, I can't think of any Ubi game where that's happened before (in the US). Ubisoft offered a discount on the game? That's highly unusual. I've never had a bad key from a site like cdkeys but it is obviously even less of a concern from Ubisoft themself. It's also a little more assuring seeing it pop up into my library weeks before release, and of course the benefit of a preload. So I see no reason not to give the official developer of the title the sale for their game when they are giving it to me for the cheapest price. I actually can't find the Deluxe Edition for cheaper on any grey site, and the ones I find a couple of bucks cheaper are for the standard version, not the Deluxe. Well, as I stated, with the 20% off the title is actually quite cheap.
